1975 Carlton Courette

19.5" frame, no WM5001562.

A Carlton ladies Mixte cycle bought from Ebay. It was brand new, never assembled or ridden, but has suffered from being stored in a loft for many years. Made in September 1975 from the number.

Purchased from Worksop, it had never been more than a mile or two from the factory. Probably left the factory a piece or two at a time......

I have assembled it and added the missing bits. Flat bars were an option on the ladies bikes.

Courette

The finish is not good on the steering head, possibly the frame was bought cheaply as a reject.

Crespera lugs.

Carlton badge is the later aluminium type.

The TI decal was fitted in the 70's.
