1971 Carlton International
22.5" frame, number 95308
| This is the first
Carlton I acquired, from a colleague. It is mostly original but
in rough condition, rusty and the paint is scratched and chipped.
The model differs slightly from the 1971 catalogue as it has small
flange hubs. |

| The seat is not original
and the bars should be black taped. Original mudguards would have
been black Bluemels, the shorty Bluemels mudguard fitted was in
poor condition so I replaced it with a pair of shorty Weinmann stainless
mudguards which were a common fitting on Carltons of this period. |

| Derailleur is a Huret
'Svelto' with red wheels. |
Brakes are GB '88'. Bars are
Brampton 'Capella' on AVA stem. Pedals are 'Atom' |
