1939 Carlton Super Python

22" frame number A5510

A 1939 Carlton Super Python. Double box coachlines on every tube. Double boxing was an extra, costing 5 shillings.

Resilion Brakes, which were an optional extra. Standard was a front Webb or Monitor side pull only.

Brooks B17 saddle.

Bluemels lightweight mudguards

Lucifer Baby 800 dynamo and lighting set.

Williams chainset marked AN which dates to 1951 so is probably a later fitting.

Rear wheel has a single gear on each side, fixed on one and freewheel on the other. It appears to have been run as a fixed wheel.

Tyres are John Bull - sadly dilapidated.
